St Andrews Church, Dean Court, Orchard Road, Oxford OX2 9BH

APH Construction Limited are excited to share that we have been successfully awarded the Tender for the Rebuilding of St Andrew’s Dean Court, Oxford - David Wenham said about the project;

“We are delighted to announce that the long-planned rebuilding of St Andrew’s Church in Dean Court is about to begin.

Now after seven years of planning and raising funds the old building is to be replaced with a more flexible energy-efficient building. Our hope and prayer is that it will enable St Andrew’s to continue to serve our local community in all sorts of ways.

We are thankful for all those who have very generously supported us towards this goal, from the church and community - during what has been a difficult period with the pandemic and rising building costs.

We are glad to have appointed a local company APH Construction Limited to undertake the work, with our own Roger Long being Project Manager.

During the rebuilding, we are grateful to our friends in the Dean Court Community Centre for welcoming us to their premises for our services, with our regular Sunday service being at 11.30 am. We hope to reopen in the rebuilt church in the summer of 2022; do come to our reopening service, whenever that may be”
